Safety instructions

The warranty will be rendered invalid for damage caused due to
non-compliance with these operating instructions. We shall not
be liable for any consequential loss!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal
injury caused by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the
safety instructions. In such cases the guarantee will lapse.

An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important information
in these operating instructions which are to be strictly followed.
Please read the operating instructions through completely before
putting the appliance into operation. They contain important infor-
mation for correct operation.

The lightning symbol in a triangle warns you against unprotected
live components or elements inside the housing. Bodily contact
with these components or elements can be fatal.

• For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifica-

tions to the product are not permitted.

• As source of voltage, only a correct mains socket (230V~/50Hz and 115V~/60Hz,

respectively) of the public supply system with an earthing contact may be used.

29

Repair work must always be carried out by a specialist familiar
with the hazards involved and with the relevant regulations.

If you have to replace fuses, ensure that you only use fuses of the same type and
rated current (see "Technical data").

It is not permitted to repair fuses or bridge the fuse holder.

• After disconnecting the appliance from the mains voltage (disconnect the power

cable!), use a suitable screwdriver to remove the FUSE fuse (19) from the fuse holder.

• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
• Install the new fuse in the fuse holder.
• Only then should you re-connect the appliance to the mains power and operate it.

Disposal

If the appliance is irreparable or unusable, dispose of it in accordance with current
statutory regulations.

Troubleshooting

By purchasing the 2-channel-compressor you have acquired a product which has
been designed to the state of the art and is operationally reliable.
Problems and disturbances may, however, still arise.
We should therefore like to describe how you can eliminate certain disturbances
yourself.

Always adhere to the safety instructions!
