Controls

1  Audio output (3.5 mm stereo headset jack)
2  LEDs (1x blue, 1x red)
3 Control key
4   MicroUSB connector for charging the integrated

rechargeable battery

Charging the Battery

•   Connect the MicroUSB connector (4) using the enclosed USB power cable to a USB port on a computer, a

USB hub with its own power supply or a USB A/C adapter. On connection to a computer, no new hardware
will be recognised because the USB port is only being used as a charger.

•  While the battery is charging, the LED (2) will shine red.
•  When the battery is fully charged, it will stop charging automatically and the LED (2) will go out.
•  Disconnect the USB-power cable from the Bluetooth headset adaptor.

When the battery is low or

fl

at, the red LED will blink 2x every 7 seconds. When this happens,

charge the Bluetooth headset adaptor as soon as possible.

Connection

•   Connect the jack 1) to your headset. Earphones or similar can also be used.
•   An adaptor cable is enclosed (3.5 mm to 3.5 mm jacks) and it is used to connect the Bluetooth headset

adaptor, for example, to the audio input (line level) of a stereo system or similar device.

Switching on/off

•   Switch the Bluetooth headset adaptor on, by pressing the on/off button (3) for 2 seconds. The blue LED

fl

ashes x4. After this, the Bluetooth headset adaptor is in Standby mode; the blue LED blinks 1x every

2 seconds.

•   To switch off, press the control button (3) for 3 seconds, until the LED blinks red 3x. The LED light then

goes out.

Pairing

Before audio data, for example, from a mobile phone, can be transferred to a Bluetooth headset adaptor, the
pairing procedure must be carried out.

For this purpose, proceed as follows:

•  Switch the Bluetooth headset adaptor off, so no LED light is on or blinking.
•   Press the control button on the Bluetooth headset adaptor for 7-8 seconds, until the blue and red LEDs

blink alternately. Then release the button.

•   Activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile, (or on any other device with Bluetooth, such as a computer,

a tablet PC or similar) and carry out a search for available Bluetooth devices.

The Bluetooth headset adaptor should now be detected under the name: “BT-WRV01”.
•   Start the pairing procedure on your mobile (see the operating instructions that came with your mobile). If

you are prompted to enter a PIN, at the start of the connection to the Bluetooth headset adaptor, enter the
numbers: „1234“.

•   Once the pairing has been successfully carried out, and the connection to Bluetooth is established, the

blue LED on the Bluetooth headset adaptor will blink 2x every four seconds.

The pairing procedure is only needed once, the Bluetooth headset adaptor will remain stored

in your mobile phone until you delete the connection. When you reconnect, the blue LED in the
Bluetooth headset adaptor will blink 4x.

•   When you play music on your mobile, the audio transmission will now take place via the Bluetooth headset

adaptor‘s audio output and through any headset connected to it.

Information about the range

The maximum range between the Bluetooth headset adaptor and a Bluetooth device (e.g. a mobile phone)
is up to 10 m.

The range can sometimes be limited considerably by:

•  Walls, reinforced concrete ceilings
•  Coated / metallised insulating glass
•  Proximity to metal & conducting objects (e.g., radiators)
•  Proximity to human bodies
•  Devices on the same frequency (radio video systems, WLAN devices, etc.)
•  Proximity to electronic devices, electric motors, transformers, network components, computers
•  Proximity to badly shielded or uncovered computers in use or other electrical appliances
