Engine-Remote start button

Intended use

The product is used to start car engines. The provided start button begins the operation. 
The product is intended for dry indoor use only.
All safety instructions and notes on operation in these operating instructions must be observed 
at all times. These instructions not only protect the device but also and in particular your health. 
Please read through the operating instructions carefully before using the product. Keep them in 
a safe place for future reference.

Explanation of symbols, labels

This symbol with lightening is used when your health is at risk, e.g. through 
an electric shock.

This symbol points out particular dangers associated with handling, function 
or operation.

The product is exclusively intended for the operation and use in dry indoors, 
it must not get damp or wet!

Observe their operating instructions!

Safety instructions

The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage occurs due to failing to com-
ply with the operating instructions! We accept no liability for damage as a 
result!

Nor do we assume liability for property damage or physical injury caused 
by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions. In such cases 
the warranty/guarantee is void.

•  For  safety  reasons,  any  unauthorized  conversion  and/or  modifi cations  to  the 

product are not permitted.

•  The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children! Particular 

care must therefore be exercised if children are around.

•  Do not leave any packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous 

toy for children.

•  Keep the operating instructions safe for future reference.
•  If you sell or pass on this product to a third party, always include these Direc-

tions for Use.

•  Maintenance, adjustment and repair of the product may only be carried out by 

an expert or a specialised repair shop.

•  The  product  is  approved  for  operation  in  dry,  closed  rooms  only.  It  must  not 

become damp or wet as there is the risk of a deadly electric shock! Never touch 
the product with wet hands.

•  If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must 

be  turned  off  and  precautions  are  to  be  taken  to  ensure  that  it  is  not  used 
unintentionally.

•  It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if the product:

shows visible damage (e.g. broken housing).

was stored under unfavourable conditions.

no longer operates after transport.

•  Handle  the  product  with  care.  It  can  be  damaged  by  impact,  blows  or  when 

dropped even from a low height.

•  Please consult a specialist in case of doubts about correct operation or product 

safety.

•  Please follow the instructions and rules and regulations of respective vehicle 

manufacturer  when  operating  vehicle  and  vehicle  engine  (Service  manual). 
Always observe the applicable accident prevention regulations and safety pre-
cautions for operating vehicles and vehicle engines.

•  The use of this product requires technical knowledge about the mode of opera-

tion and the superstructure of respective vehicle or vehicle engine. The product 
is connected to particular points. These are in different places for each vehicle 
and observe vehicle-specifi c rules while connecting.

•  Before all activities, get information about the necessary rules and instructions 

for  the  application  of  this  product.  Non-observance  may  result  into  both  the 
damage to vehicle and danger for persons.

•  In  case  you  do  not  have  the  necessary  professional  knowledge  or  not  sure 

about the activities and their results, leave this work to corresponding respon-
sible technician.

•  Exhaust emissions and fuel vapours are hazardous to health! Do not start the 

motor in enclosed spaces.

•  Never leave vehicle unattended while using the product.
•  All connection leads and lines must be installed at suffi cient distance from hot 

surfaces (e.g. exhaust system) and moving elements (e.g. rotating fan wheel). 
Check in particular any used connection and extension cable.

•  When working on running vehicle engine, risk of being injured by hot, moving 

or electrically charged parts exists. The fan wheel, V-Belts, exhaust manifold 
and the parts of ignition system leading high voltage are particularly dangerous. 
Electrical ventilators can start unexpectedly and quickly without pre-warning!

•  Avoid the direct contact with live components.
•  Ensure  that  the  ignition  of  your  vehicle  is  switched  off  before  connecting  the 

product.

Connect product

1.  Connect a connection 

terminal (1) with the plus 
pole of the vehicle battery 
according to the instructions 
provided by automobile 
manufacturer.

2.  Connect the other connec-

tion terminal (2) with the cor-
responding contact on the 
starter (engagement relay) 
or starter relay according to 
the instructions provided by 
automobile manufacturer.

The Engine-Remote start button must not be used for by-passing the power 
supply of starter (strong current). It must be used only for the control current 
to activate the engagement relay. 

You may start the engine using the start button after connecting the product by a professional 
personnel.

 

Also observe the applicable instructions given in operating instructions of the respec-
tive vehicle while starting the engine. 
If the engine is running, do not reactivate the start button. The reactivation may result 
in damage to starter.

Care and maintenance

•  Clean the product with a soft, clean and dry cloth. Do not use aggressive detergents or chemi-

cals as these can damage the housing and contacts.

Disposal

Never  dispose  of  products  and  devices  labelled  with  the  following  symbol  in  the 
household  waste.  You  are  obliged  to  dispose  of  these  separately. Ask  your  local 
authority about the facilities for controlled disposal.
