Intended Use

This 2.4 GHz colour camera together with the corresponding 2.4 GHz radio receiver is intended
to for installation in, and protection of, secluded or critical areas (e.g. surveillance of stores, inter-
communication systems, entrances and so on). 

The camera and the power supply unit provided are only intended for use in dry indoor locations.

The picture and sound transmission to the receiver takes place wirelessly at a frequency of 2.4
GHz.

The power is supplied via the power supply unit (5 V/DC) provided. In addition, the camera has
an integrated rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Please bear in mind that it is prohibited by law to observe strangers with a camera without their
knowledge and consent.
Do not operating the product in any other way than that described above. This could lead to dam-
age to the product, which may give rise to hazards such as short circuit, fire and electric shock.
The product must not be modified or converted. Always observe the safety instructions included
in these operating instructions. Please read the operating manual carefully and keep it for later
reference.

Symbols

A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of elec-
tric shock.

The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during handling, oper-
ation and control.

The „Hand“ symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

Safety Instructions

The warranty will lapse in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for material and per-
sonal damage caused by improper use or non-compliance with the safety
instructions!

The exclamation mark indicates important notes in these operating
instructions that should always be observed.

• The camera and the power unit must not be modified or converted, as not

only the CE certification will become void but also the warranty. 

• The camera and the transformer should not be exposed to extreme temper-

atures, direct sunlight, intense vibration or heavy mechanical stress.

• Where the devices are used connected to other devices e.g. a television

screen, the operating instructions and safety information for the devices
connected must be followed.

• The use of the surveillance camera system does not replace the personal

supervision of children, or people who require special assistance, but only
serves as a support to this supervision.

• The internal Lithium-ion battery may only be recharged with the provided

power supply unit.

• This camera system uses and generates high frequency energy. If the

device is not installed and operated in accordance with these instructions,
it can cause radio interference. If the wireless camera system causes inter-
ference to other equipment, try one or more of the following measures list-
ed below, in order to restore normal operation:
- Change the position of the camera.
- Increase the distance between the device affected and the radio camera or

the receiver for the radio camera . 

- Select another transmission channel.

• After rapid changes in temperature, the camera and the transformer require

some time to stabilise, in order to adjust to the surrounding temperature,
before it can be used. 
Wait until the product has reached room temperature, before use.

• Electronic devices are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of chil-

dren! 

• The power supply unit conforms to protection class II. It may only be

plugged into a standard household 230V~/50Hz mains socket.

• Please contact a qualified person, if you are unsure about the safety and

correct use of the system components. 

• Never leave the packaging material lie around unattended. Plastic film/bags

etc. can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk of suffocation.

• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-

connect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.

• Never plug in, or remove, the power unit when your hands are wet.
• Never pull on the power cable; only unplug it at the power outlet.

• In the event of a thunderstorm, unplug the power supply unit for safety rea-

sons.

• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:

- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long 

period of time or

- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.

• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the

Employer’s Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and
Operating Materials are to be observed.

• The provided camera and power supply unit must not become damp or wet.

The product is approved only for use in dry rooms.

• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified

specialist or a specialised repair shop.
If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please
contact our technical service or another specialist.

General Notes about Batteries
• Keep rechargeable batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave the batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being swallowed by

children or domestic animals. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.

• If your skin comes into contact with leaking or damaged batteries, you may suffer burns. For

this reason you should use suitable protective gloves.

• Make sure that the batteries are not short-circuited, taken to pieces or thrown into a fire. There

is a risk of explosion!

• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge rechargeable bat-

teries which are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.

• Old batteries/rechargeable batteries can leak and cause damage to the product; loss of guar-

antee/warranty! 

• For the environmentally-friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please read

the chapter “Disposal of used batteries/rechargeable batteries”.

Installation

Find a suitable place for mounting from which the area to be monitored can be observed.
A suitable place for installation of this camera has the following features:

• Vibration-free
• no direct sunlight
• Dry indoor location
