Intended Use
This remote controlled, wireless, outdoor switch is intended for turning connected consumer
loads on or off, either manually via a push button on the device or via a suitable remote switch.
The remote controlled wireless outdoor switch is suitable for use outdoors (IP44).
All the safety and operating instructions in this manual must be followed carefully. These instruc-
tions not only protect the device but, in particular, your health. Please read the entire operating
manual before using the product.

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions. We do not assume any liability for any consequential
damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warran-
ty will be void in such cases.
• The unauthorized opening, conversion and/or modification of this product is not per-
mitted because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Although the product
emits only relatively weak radio signals, these may lead to the malfunction of life-
support systems. The same may be the case in other areas.
• The product is designed in accordance with protection class I. Only a standard
mains socket (230V~/50Hz with protective earth) for the public supply grid may be
used as the power source for the radio controlled socket.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Therefore,
be especially careful when children are around. Children might try to push objects
through the socket openings, for example. There is a risk of a lethal electric shock!
• The remote controlled wireless outdoor switch is suitable for use outdoors (IP44).
• Never touch the product, or the mains plug, with wet or damp hands when trying to
connect to the radio controlled socket. There is a risk of a lethal electric shock!
• Never remove a mains plug from the radio controlled socket by pulling on the pow-
er cable. Always pull the plug from the radio controlled socket by gripping the area
provided for this purpose on its sides.
• Do not put more than one adaptor onto the unit!
• The unit is only without current, when the main plug is disconnected from the outlet.
• Do not overload the radio controlled switch socket (take note of the input power in
the technical data at the end of the operating manual!).
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous play-
things for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
drops, even from a low height.
• If the product casing is damaged, do not use the product any more! When it is con-
nected to the mains, do not touch the radio controlled switch socket or the connect-
ed device! First, switch off at the mains socket to which the radio controlled socket is
connected (i.e. switch off the circuit breaker). You can then remove the radio con-
trolled socket from the mains socket. Take it to a specialized workshop or dispose of
it in an environmentally friendly way.

Controls

Button/LED „ON/OFF/INDICATOR“
By using this button, the radio controlled socket can be activated or deactivated manually.
At the same time, this button is used as programming key.

Programming the radio controlled, switch socket to recog-
nise a transmitter
• Set the switch group on the transmitter, to which you want to program the radio controlled
switch, if necessary (e.g. for a radio remote control) using the selector switch for the switch
group.
• Plug the radio controlled socket into a standard 230 V/AC 50 Hz household socket. The LED
„ON/OFF/INDICATOR“ (2) starts to blink.
• Press the ON button for the desired switching channel on the radio transmitter, i.e. that to
which you want to program the radio switch socket, before the LED stops blinking. The red
„Indicator LED“ (2) goes out. The programming has been completed successfully.

You can program up to 10 radio transmitters for this remote controlled, wire-
less, outdoor switch.
• Set the switch group on the transmitter, to which you want to program the radio controlled
switch, if necessary (e.g. for a radio remote control) using the selector switch for the switch
group.
• Plug the radio controlled socket into a standard 230 V/AC 50 Hz household socket and press
the button/LED „ON/OFF/INDICATOR“ (2), until the LED starts to flash red.
• Press the ON button for the desired switching channel, on the radio transmitter, i.e that to
which you want to program the radio controlled, switch socket, before the „Indicator/LED“
stops blinking. The red „Indicator LED“ (2) goes out. The programming has been completed
successfully.

Start-up, Function Test
Select the correct switch group on the transmitter, if necessary (e.g. on a radio remote control).
Plug the radio controlled socket (without the consumer load connected!) into the designated
earthed mains socket.
You can now test the function of the radio controlled, mains socket by briefly pressing the
respective ON button for the corresponding switching channel. The red „Indicator LED“ (2) lights
up. The socket (1) on the front is now activated; the mains voltage is available and a connected
consumer load is turned on.
Briefly press the OFF button, for the switching channel on the transmitter; the „Indicator LED“ (2)
is turned off; the mains voltage to the front socket (7), and thus the connected consumer load, is
turned off.
Operation
Connect the consumer load to the front socket (1).
Please consult the section „Technical Data“ for the permissible maximum
power.
By pressing the respective ON or OFF button for the switching channel on the radio transmitter,
you can turn the radio controlled, mains socket on (the „Indicator LED“ (2) lights up) or off (the
„Indicator LED“) (2) goes out.
The radio controlled mains socket can be switched on or off manually using the „ON/OFF“ but-
ton (1) located on the front.
