Only people with an appropriate training are entitled to carry out work on voltage-carrying
parts. If you have not had such training, consult a qualified electrician for such work.
• Fully disconnect the power supply to which the "FS20 RSU" is to be connected (e.g. switch
off the fuse box and then trip the overload switch as well).
• While working on the device, make sure no-one turns on the power supply. You can use
mechanical interlocks or put up eye-catching warning signs.
• Always only load the device up to the capacity indicated. A capacity overload may lead to
the destruction of the device, a fire or an electrical accident.
• Do not use mains cables which are too weak. The mains cables must be dimensioned in
compliance with the load to be connected.
• The device is intended for use in dry indoor areas, it must not get damp or wet.
• Only rigid installation cables for set location installation are to be connected to the device.
The device is to be securely installed within a set location installation.
• Only VDE compliant mains supply buttons may be used for external sensors, as these have
a direct contact to the mains supply.
• On industrial sites the accident prevention regulations of the association of the industrial
workers' society for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about the mode of operation, safety or connection of the
device.
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly, as such materials can become
dangerous toys in the hands of children.
Please note:
These control and installation instructions pertain solely to connection of the
control to commercially available roller shutter electronics. We do not accept
any liability for consequential damages as a result of incorrect use!
