Principle of function
4.
This plasma lamp consists of a transparent glass heart filled with different gases at low pressure.
On the inside of the glass heart there is a smaller glass ball that serves as an electrode. If a
high frequency alternating voltage is connected, flashes are created that reach from the inner
glass ball to the outer glass heart. If, for example, a hand is placed on the glass, the electric field
changes. A visible light beam is created from the inner light ball to the point of contact.
