Intended use
The LED strip should only be used for effect lighting in closed, dry indoor locations. The power
is supplied by the enclosed wall plug transformer.
Any use other than that described above may damage the product. Moreover, this may give
rise to hazards such as short-circuiting,

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases,
the warranty will be null and void.
a) In general
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modi
fi
cation of the product is not allowed for
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children! Children
do not realize the danger arising from the incorrect use of electrical devices. Be
especially careful if children are around.

• Do not leave the packaging materials unattended. They may become dangerous
playthings for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the employer’s
liability insurance association for electrical systems and operating facilities are to
be observed!

Operation
• This product is only to be installed and used in dry conditions indoors. The product
must not get damp or wet as there is danger of a fatal electric shock!
• Do not use this product in rooms or under adverse ambient conditions where com-
bustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a risk of explosion!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or
heavy mechanical loads.
• The product is only suitable for use in moderate but not tropical climates.
• Attention, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Only use the LED strips with the enclosed wall plug transformer.
• If the wall plug transformer is damaged, do not use the product any longer.
Switch off the mains socket to which the wall plug transformer is connected (switch
off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, then switch off
the earth leakage circuit breaker). Pull the wall plug transformer out of the mains
socket.
The faulty wall plug transformer may only be replaced with an identical one.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect
the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
A safe operation can no longer be assumed, if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage,
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (
fl
ickering light, leaking smoke
or a smell of burning, the light
fl
ickers, audible cracking noises, discolouration to
the product or the adjacent surfaces.)
- the product was stored for a longer period of time in unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• For safety reasons, pull the wall plug transformer out of the mains socket before
cleaning the product or when the product is not to be used for a while (e.g. during
storage).
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please contact our
technical service or another specialist.
Installation and Connection
• Start with connecting the wall plug transformer with a y-adapter.
• Now, the LED strips can be connected to three outputs of the y-adapter. Depending on the
required mounting position of the LED strips, the enclosed connecting cables should be used.
A maximum of three LED strips can be connected in series.
Many different mounting positions are possible due to enclosed extender cables.
• Close the open ends of the LED stips with small end caps.
• Depending on the surface, the LED strips can be fastened by enclosed clips or double-sided
adhesive tapes.
Each clip is tightened to the base with one screw. Where necessary, other screws and dowels
can be used depending on the surface.
Pay attention that no cable or pipes are damaged when drilling and tightening the screws.
Where double-sided adhesive tape is to be used, clean the surface thoroughly before attach-
ing them. Use at least 2 pieces of adhesive tape for each LED strip.
• Fasten the cables e.g. by a cable tie; a transparent adhesive strip can also be used.
• Plug the wall plug transformer into an appropriate mains socket.
• Now the lighting can be turned on or off by the ON/OFF switch.
