Operation

1.  Place  the  unit  on  a  heat-resistant,  level  surface.    Make  sure  that  the  air  entrance  and  exit  are

unobstructed. The  distance  from  the  air  intake  grill  to  another  object  should  be  at  least  20 cm. The
distance from the air outlet grill to another object should be at least 1 m.

2.  Connect the unit to a properly installed wall outlet with 220-240 V/AC, 50 Hz .

-  Cross section and fuse protection of the feed line on which you want to connect the unit should be
  sufficient for its output.

3.  Turn the unit on with the multiple-contact switch (3). The indicator lamp (2) lights up when the unit is in

operation.
-  Switch position 0 – switched off
-  Switch position    fan operation only
-  Switch position I – heat output 1000 W
-  Switch position II – heat output 2000 W

4.  Set the desired ambient temperature with the thermostat (1). When the set temperature is reached, the

unit switches off – or on again, if it goes below the set temperature.

5.  Pull the plug out of the socket after use.

A slight odour of something burning after switching on should to a large extent vanish after a
short time, when all dust particles still on the heating wires have been burned.

Troubleshooting

Problem

Solution

The device doesn’t work.

Power  connection  interrupted  /  thermostat  set  too  high  /  the
overheating protection has turned the unit off
•  Check the power plug / set the thermostat / wait until the unit

cools off

The unit only blows cold air.

Heating not turned on / heating element defective
•  Turn  on  heating  level  /  repair  by  a  specialist  /  specialised

workshop

The heating element gives off heat,
but the fan doesn’t work.

Fan motor defective
•  Repair by a specialist / specialised workshop

Maintenance and cleaning

•  Before every cleaning, separate the unit from the power network. If necessary, wait until it cools down to

normal temperature.

•  Do not use any abrasive cleaners or solvents.
•  It is best to clean the fan grille in front and back with a soft brush. If available, blow off the grille and internal

components with compressed air. But don’t use it in enclosed spaces or inhale the dust.

•  The rest of the enclosure is to be wiped off with a soft dry cloth, as needed. If there is more dirt, please

use a lightly moistened cloth.  After a longer period of not using the unit, make sure to remove most of the
dust deposits from the heating wires in the interior so that only slight remains are burned when turning it
on again.

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.

You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

a) Persons / Product

•  Do not cover the device (e.g. with a curtain, blanket, etc.) to avoid overheating of the device.

When operating the heater, make sure there is sufficient distance from objects so as not to
