Mounting the fan heater

The handle on the top of the unit makes transporting of the fan heater much easier.

Set up the design fan heater on an even and steady surface.

A safety switch, which is located on the bottom of the unit, switches the fan heater off in case it
falls over.

Observe all the safety instructions and information in this operating 
manual.
Make sure no objects are in the direct vicinity of the fan heater. The swing
range must also be observed!

• Choose an appropriate mounting place. It must be fixed on a big enough level, stable and far

away from inflammable materials and items, distance at least 1.5m!
The fan heater is only intended to be set up on a horizontal smooth level and sufficiently big
surface (floor); it must not be wall-mounted.
Make sure that no object (e. g. a curtain) can come into contact with the heater or into its vicin-
ity through a draught. Fire hazard!.

• Use the product in dry indoor areas only.

• Also keep sufficient distance between yourself and the fan heater when it’s operating, there is

danger of being burnt.

• Place the product out of the reach of children.

• Using the fan heater is not recommended for people with slow reactions or heat sensitivity.

• Do not set up the fan heater without appropriate protection for high quality furniture surfaces, which

could be damaged (scratch marks, furthermore e.g. discolorations by heat).

Operating the design fan heater

After the fan heater has been properly installed, connect the protective earth connector to a com-
mon wall outlet. A red indicator lamp signals readiness for operation.

All functions of the fan heater can be adjusted on the top of the unit.

Individual functions can be switched on by simply pressing the respective button. If a button is
pressed down, the respective function is switched on.

Press the switch until it clicks into place; to switch the function off press down the button again.

When using the heater for the first time, hot parts of the case may cause an
irritating odour for a while. If you experience this, ventilate the room where
the fan heater is set up.

ON/OFF/FAN

= by using this switch, the internal fan can be activated or deactivated man-

ually.

1000W

= the first heating winding with 1000 Watt can be activated (= push switch

down) or deactivated herewith.

1000W

= the second heating winding with 1000 Watt can be activated (= push

switch down) or deactivated herewith.

SWING

= activate/deactivate swing function

A protective system prevents further operation of the fan heater in case it falls over. If the pro-
tective system has been activated, the indicator of readiness for operation, which is located on
the front of the unit, will not appear.

Maintenance and Cleaning

The product does not contain any parts that require maintenance.

Pull out the mains plug out of the mains socket before cleaning the product.

Caution! Do not clean the product immediately after operation, let it cool
down before cleaning.

The fan heater is equipped with a dust and lint filter located on the back of the unit. To ensure
the air supply, please clean the filter regularly.

• Undo both back housing screws from the air grille and lift the grille out.

• Clean the lint filter inside the unit.

• Re-insert the cleaned lint filter into the filter holder and carefully close the housing grille.

• Carefully tighten the housing screws.

Disposal

Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!

Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
