etc. Observe the safety instructions and all other information of these operating instructions without fail!

We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by incorrect
handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases, the warranty will
be null and void.

General
• Unauthorised conversion and/or modi

cation of the product is not allowed for safety and
approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• Do not leave packaging materials carelessly lying around, since they may become a danger-
ous plaything for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer’s Liability
Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Facilities are to be observed!

Operation
• The product may be mounted and operated only in dry, enclosed interiors. The product must
not get damp or wet as this would damage it Furthermore, there is a risk of short-circuit.
• Do not use this product in rooms or under adverse environmental conditions where combus-
tible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not hang any items (e.g. decoration material) on the LED interior lamp, risk of
fi
re!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or heavy
mechanical stress.
• The product is suitable for use only in temperate, not tropical, climates.
• Caution, LED light:: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into the beam directly
or with optical instruments!
• If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be turned off
and precautions must be taken to ensure that it is not used unintentionally.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (where there is
fl
ickering light, leaking
smoke or a smell of burning, audible crackling noises, or discolouration of the product or to
any adjacent surfaces)
- the product was stored for a longer period of time in unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please contact our technical
service or another specialist.
Installation
If the LED interior lamp is to be mounted in a vehicle, you have to make sure it does not constrict you while
driving the vehicle or block control elements of the vehicle.
Furthermore, pay attention that no cables, wires or constructionally important parts are damaged and that
the mounting location is solid and stable.
In case of doubt, let an expert carry out the installation since with modern vehicles in particular,
it is dif
fi
cult to know whether the mounting location is suitable or not.
Besides, many parts of the car’s interior lining must be removed and remounted in order to lay
the connection cables. Only an expert knows how this can be done correctly.
Improper work carried out on the vehicle may not only lead to damages but the operating license
might become void.
Proceed as follows:
• Choose a suitable location for installing the LED interior light.
• If the LED interior light is to be mounted inside a vehicle, remove all the parts of the car’s interior lining, if
required.
• Drill a hole that is suf
fi
ciently large enough for the cables of the LED interior light.
• Lead the cables of the LED interior light through the hole and mount the light with suitable screws.
When installing the light make sure the on/off switch of the LED interior light is located at a place that is
within easy reach for you.
• Connect the cables of the LED interior light correctly. The red wire must be connected to the positive pole
(+), the white wire to the negative pole (-). Depending on where the lamp is to be connected, a fuse in the
power cable must be provided (we recommend max. 1 A).
Should you require an extension of the cable, bear in mind that the connections must be insulated accor-
dingly in order to avoid a short-circuit.
Protect the cables from sharp edges. Secure the cables e.g. with cable fasteners.
Depending on the position where the cables are laid, you should additionally wrap foamed material around
the cables to avoid rattling noises in the vehicle.
• Finally, replace all the parts of the car’s interior lining.
Getting Started
• The LED interior light can be switched on or off using the switch located on the side of the light.
• The direction of the LED interior light’s light ray is adjustable by turning and pivoting the front part.
However, do not use force.
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations.
