• The solar module generates electricity when exposed to light. A
single module remains below the so-called low-voltage thresh-
old, but several sequential (voltage sum) or parallel modules
(current sum) will constitute a danger potential. The fully isolat-
ed junction box protects from direct contact. Always observe
the following notes to avoid electric shock, sparks and fire:
- Solar modules and the connections used for them must nev-
er be installed with damp or wet plugs of sockets.
- Never touch the connection lines or connection terminals
when your hands are wet or damp.
- When installing solar modules, always use suitable safety
tools and ensure your personal safety by wearing suitable
safety clothing (isolated tools, safety gloves, etc.).
- Never use any damaged solar modules; never disassemble
any solar modules. Never remove any of the manufacturer’s
type labels.
- Ensure dry ambience conditions during installation and con-
nection.
• Ensure that no mechanic forces impact the solar module.
Solar modules can be damaged by bending, putting them on
top of each other, stepping on them, falls from a low height or
pressure
• Observe applicable local standards, accident prevention regu-
lations and building provisions for installation and connection.
• Only a person familiar with the relevant specifications (VDE)
and dangers may install this product.
• The product is suitable for operation at a vertical wall.
• Taking the product from a cold to a warm environment (e.g.
during transport), condensation may result. This might cause
a deadly electric shock! Therefore, allow the components to
reach room temperature before installing and operating them.
