Port Breakout Options
The main purpose of the XDG024-25 is to allow the ability of many port breakout options. As discussed
above the main options are to:
o
Cabling off the XDG to connect directly to a user’s custom chassis IO panel
o
Cabling off the XDG to connect directly to standard CTI Breakout Board
o
Board-to-Board Stacking connection to a user’s custom breakout board (or flex PCB)
o
Board-to-Board Stacking connection to a standard CTI Breakout Board (or development board)
Custom Breakout Board
If a user wishes to create their own custom breakout board to connect directly to the XDG or from cabling off
of the XDG, Connect Tech has prepared a simple reference design package that can be downloaded below.

DEV011 – XDG025 Development Kit
The DEV011 development kit provides everything needed for an easy out-of-the-box experience with the
XDG025 device. The kit comes pre-integrated with:

XDG025 24-Port Switch
o
XHG102 heatplate
o
Custom Breakout Board (24 Ethernet Ports, LEDs, Serial and Power Connections)
o
Custom bottom development “sled” for a rigid integration
o
A universal AC/DC desktop power supply
All that is needed to get up and running is to connect power.
