!!! ATTENTION
– It is very important to know each card position.
Enroll card on first free position:
With system on “Enrol card in first free position” present card that you want to enrol. This will be enrolled on
first free position in table. (write down that position). If some error occurs while enrolling , system will signal
with “invalid card”, meaning that cards is already enrolled or memory is full.
After enrolling one card , others cards can be enrolled directly.
Delete an existing card:
With system on “Delete an existing card” present card that you want to delete. That card will be deleted from
memory and that position becomes free. Write down that position as free position. If deletion cannot be made
an “invalid card” signal will be show on readers, meaning that card did not exist in database. After deleting
one card, others can be presented to be deleted directly.
Delete a lost/damaged card:
With this option you can delete a card without having that card. It is very useful in case of
lost/stolen/damaged cards. It is possible to delete one card without deleting all cards and without using a
computer
– fully stand-alone. in this phase is very important to know user position in database.
With system on “Delete a lost/damage card” present the card with position number lower then card we want
to delete. For instance, if we want to delete card in position 37 we will present card in position 36 If we do not
have card in position 36 (36 is free) we will present card in position 35. And so on. In other words, this phase
can be “delete first card enrolled after (as position) presented card”.
Again, it is very important to note all position of cards enrolled or deleted.
Stand alone reset and master card enrolling:
Master card can be enrolled in the following steps:
1. Power off
2. Disconnect CM input
3. Short with a wire between LED output and CM input
4. Power On
5.
After aprox. 3 seconds of LED flashing, system goes into “Enrol card” phase, as shown by LED/Buzzer.
6. Present the card that you want to become master.
7. At exit of Enrolling card phase power off the system.
8. Remove the wire between CM and LED
9. Reconnect CM wire from magnetic contact
10. Power on
For security reasons, all cards will be deleted before enroling master card. System goes in “Enrol card” and
since all cards are deleted, first card enrolled will be enrolled in position 0, becoming master card.
