5.2. PC Mode
Connecting with a PC (illustrated as follows)
Supply power to the device.
Powered by AC adapter:
in all situations where you have power you can use the
CMED2PLAY. The size of the Hard Disk is not important. We strongly recommend to use the
AC adapter in al circumstances
Note:
First connect your AC adapter, than your USB cable. Otherwise the power supply to the
device will not come from the AC adapter but from the USB cable
Connect the device to a computer running on a Microsoft Windows OS (ME, 2000 or XP).
When the device is connected to the computer using the USB cable, it will detect the device
automatically and assign new driver letter(s). (Your hard drive is pre-formatted in FAT32 file
system)
