• Avoid lighting a burner when the pot is empty. An empty pot will heat very quickly and the bottom may be
deformed. Should this unintentionally occur, do not touch the pot; turn off the burner and allow it to cool.
Hot pots
• Avoid placing a hot pot on the control panel, the frame or any edge. The appliance could be damaged.
Salt, sugar, sand
• Salt, sugar or sand (e.g. from vegetables) may scratch the appliance‘s surface. Do not use the cooktop as a
workbench or a storage space.
Hard and sharp objects
• Falling hard and sharp objects may damage various parts of the appliance. Avoid placing items above the
cooktop.
