Before first use
Before first use you should wipe the outside and inside of the appliance with a damp cloth for hygiene reasons.
Ventilation mode
The extracted air is discharged through the flexible outlet duct to the ventilation shaft out of the room. If the appliance
is equipped with a carbon filter,
remove it (see chapter Cleaning and Maintenance).
1. Press the button (1) to start the appliance working.
2. Press a button (2, 3 or 4) to select the air suction power.
3. Press and hold the button (5) to select between three colors of lighting. When you release your finger from the
button, the last color displayed is automatically saved.
4. Press the button (1) to turn the appliance off.
Timer - delayed shutdown
1. Press the timer button to activate the delayed shutdown mode. The time of the suctioning depends on the selected
suction level.
2. In the 1st power stage, the hood sucks for 5 minutes.
3. In the 2nd power stage, the hood sucks for 4 minutes.
4. At power stage 3, the hood sucks for 3 minutes.
Recirculation mode
If it isn´t possible to extract exhaust air from the room, recirculation mode can be used. In this case, the exhaust air is
filtered through a
metal grease filter and a carbon filter
. The activated carbon in this filter helps reduce unpleasant
odors. The air then enters the room through openings in the top cover of the chimney. For hoods built into the cabinet,
it is important that the filtered air is directed back into the room, otherwise the hood will not work properly.
When using the recirculation mode, a suitable carbon filter
must be purchased and installed (see chapter Cleaning
and maintenance)
