5. For effective air circulation, the unit must be installed according to the dimensions in Fig. 4. The box shall be
designed so that air can flow in its bottom part. A gap of at least 20 mm shall be below the heating plate and at
least 50 mm behind the rear wall of the box.
Dismounting
If you are dismounting the unit, it is important to proceed correctly:
1. First unplug the power cord from the mains (pull out the plug or switch off the circuit breaker).
2. Release the attachment screws.
3. Slide out the unit and at the same time pull out the power cord carefully.
Connection in the mains
• Only a qualified expert can perform connection of the unit.
• Make sure the mains voltage and current protection correspond to the rating values on the type plate of the unit.
Otherwise the installed electric circuit could be overloaded, especially in the case of single-phase connection
(230 V). We recommend using a separately protected electric circuit.
6. Before installing the unit in the cut-out in the worktop, stick sealing against the leakage of liquids along the
perimeter of the bottom part of the glass-ceramic plate (enclosed depending on the type).
7. Put the unit on the edge of the worktop and run the power cord through the worktop of the cabinet so that its
plug or terminal box is accessible after installation.
8. Put the unit carefully in the selected place. Be careful not to squeeze the power cord.
9. Attach the unit to the cabinet by screwing four clamps (type IDV 2060 only) from below the worktop.
10. Plug the supply cable in the wall outlet or the terminal box.
