Display

(A) QAM Marker ID

•  F1, F2, or F3. Must coincide with QM 

setting in head-end. If --- displayed 
device in M3 mode.

(B) Frequency

•  Current frequency in use.

(C) Distance

•  Adjusts measurement displayed to 

compensate for distance to leak.

(D) Battery

•  Current battery level

(E) Leakage/Noise

•  “Leakage”=Valid leak being detected
•  “Noise”=RF present and detected, but is 

not a valid  signal from QAM Marker (or 
M3 if in M3 mode)

(F) Leak Level

•  Current RF level being detected
•  CLP indicates clipping

(G) Bar Graph

Keypad 

Charge/Power

•  Press to turn on/off
•  LED orange during charging
•  LED green when charging complete
•  Red LED indicates charge Fault

Squelch (SQ)

•  Minimum leakage level for warble output
•  Press button to activate; cycle trigger switch to change

Distance (DIST)

•  Compensate measurement to provide FCC mandated 10’ distance
•  Press button to activate; cycle trigger to change
•  LED On indicates good GPS fix

Scale

•  Adjust bar graph/warble volume scaling
•  Press button to activate; cycle trigger to change
•  LED On indicates reduced gain (Device input overloaded)

BlueTooth (BT)

•  Press once to store a single measurement to MPL.
•  Hold for 1 second to start sending continuous real-time data 
•  LED On when connected to MPL

Slow flash indicates sending real-time data to MPL

Quick flash indicates send attempt but connection lost

Mode

•  Press to cycle between QAM Marker and M3
•  LED on indicates M3 Mode

Band

•  Press to cycle between bands 1, 2 & 3
•  Frequency indication changes with button press
•  Hold for 1 second to enter All Band Monitor mode

Automatically returns to normal mode after 5 minutes

•  LED On indicates All Band monitor mode
