Battery testing

ź

Position the charger so that it is not possible to
pinch or slip the cables, or get device stucked
(eg inaccessible engine compartments).

ź

Keep the charger away from the radiator, belts and
other moving parts of the engine compartment,
even when they are turned off.

ź

First, clarify which battery terminal is positive and
which is grounded, and observe the correct battery
polarity when connecting clips (charger clips must
match the terminals of the battery).

ź

Connect negative clip to the (-)terminal and then
positive clip to the (+) terminal.

ź

A battery test will be performed with the status
displayed on the charger. If the battery is severely
discharged (less than 5V). Charger will not read
any state of the battery charge level.

ź

When the battery is ready (fully charged)
disconnect clips (+ and then - pole).

Battery charging

ź

Position the charger so that it is not possible to
pinch or slip the cables, or get device stucked
(eg inaccessible engine compartments).

ź

Keep the charger away from the radiator, belts and
other moving parts of the engine compartment,
even when they are turned off.

ź

First, clarify which battery terminal is positive and
which is grounded, and observe the correct battery
polarity when connecting clips (charger clips must
match the terminals of the battery).

ź

Connect negative clip to the (-) terminal and then
positive clip to the (+) terminal.

ź

Use the MODE button to select the appropriate
charging mode.

ź

After that connect the charger to the power supply
using 230V cable.

ź

The charger evaluates the condition of the battery
and starts the charging process. Charging is
controlled by a microprocessor, which automatically
adjusts the charging parameters.

ź

When the battery is fully charged, charger will
automatically switch to maintenance pulse mode.

ź

When the battery is ready (fully charged),
disconnect the charger from 230V power supply
and disconnect clips (+ and then - pole).

ź

If the cell caps were unscrewed during charging,
they can now be screwed back on again.

Charging modes

ź

After connecting the battery with clips (without
connection of charger to the 230V mains), it is
possible to switch between the individual modes
(STD / GEL, AGM / Winter mode and LifePO4
battery) by pressing the MODE button.

ź

If the outdoor temperature is lower than + 5 ° C, it
is advisable to use the winter charging mode. (not
intended for LiFePO4)

ź

If the selected mode lights up green, it means that
the connection is successful and the battery starts
charging.

ź

If the selected mode lights up red, it means that the
battery is not connected, is connected incorrectly or
is defective.

ź

When the charging is complete, the charger
automatically switches to the maintenance pulse
mode, in which it starts charging the battery in a
targeted pulse mode to prolong its life.

Caution:

Heavily discharged and damaged car batteries cannot
be charged with this charger. If the 12V car battery
voltage drops below 5V, the microprocessor in the
charger will mark the battery as faulty and will not
charge it!
The manufacturer accepts no liability for accidents or
damage resulting from non-compliance with these
instructions.
