Read these operating instructions thoroughly
before using the inverter. This prevents the user
from getting injured or damaging the device.
The following instructions must be followed in
order to avoid:
- electric shock
- fire
- other injuries
- property damage
This inverter is designed to power up from a
cigarette lighter socket or with clips from a 12 V
battery. When attaching clips or a car lighter
plug, make sure that the colored wires are
correctly plugged in - the red cable on the red
clamp, black cable to black clamp. Fully tighten
the nuts to prevent inproper contact and
overheating of the connection. The center pin of
the plug is designed for + pole, the outer con-
tacts then the - pole. Ensure that the plug is
securely plugged into the socket, if there is a
poor contact the plug can get very hot! When
connecting the terminals to the battery, use the
red terminal on the + pole and the black on the -
pole. Do not switch polarity! When u do so, the
fuse will break - replacement required.
Warning!
The inverter is equipped with a built-
in 40A fuses. In case of improper connection or
incorrect use, it will break. The fuse can be
replaced on the rear of the inverter. Never
disasemble inverter, or reduce or otherwise
modify the cables or parts of the inverter. The
cigarette lighter socket in your car is usually
equipped with a 10 A or 15 A fuse. Never change
it with a different type. The inverter must not be
used with capacitive loads (eg standard
fluorescent lamps) and for supplying compres-
sor refrigerators. Before using it in car, make
sure (in the vehicle documentation) that device
with such power can be plugged into a cigarette
lighter socket or car battery.
Inverter operation:
Switch on the inverter with
the O / I switch. The green light is on. If the
battery voltage drops below 10.5 V during
operationing, an acoustic signal sounds and the
red light comes on. If the inverter overheats
(temperature approx. 65 ° C), it will automatical-
ly turn off and the red light comes on. Then turn
off the switch. When the inverter cools down,
you can start it again.
If the inverter is running for a long period of time
at maximum power, it is recommended to start
the engine to avoid discharging of the battery.
The inverter should not be running when the
engine is starting, when the engine is running
the inverter can be used normally. The voltage
in the socket can switch off when starting. If the
battery voltage falls below 10 V during operati-
on, the inverter automatically shuts down. The
inverter must not be used with capacitance
(inductive) loads, eg standard fluorescent
lamps, compressor fridge power supply, etc.
Attention!
Cable cross-section and length
must be retained! Can not be arbitrarily
changed! Do not change the polarity of the
power cables! The fuse will break - replacement
required.
Important Notice:
!
Do not connect the output voltage to
another voltage source
!
The inverter can only be used for purposes
permitted by the manufacturer
!
If you are handling the inverter, always
disconnect it from the power supply
