FAIL SAFE (OPTIONAL)
The FAIL SAFE function stores energy and then uses it to move the actuator in a programmed “safe” position in case of power supply failure.
The energy is stored inside some supercapacitors which ensure fast recharge times and long-term reliability. With the Wi-Fi interface or the Modbus serial protocol connection you can program the safety position
(opening, closing or intermediate position).
• INTERMEDIATE POSITION CORRECTION – “MID[-10°…+10°]”
Mid[-10°…+10°] = -10
Mid[-10°…+10°] = 10
ROTATION ANGLE 90°
Mid[-10°…+10°] = -10
Mid[-10°…+10°] = 10
ROTATION ANGLE 180°
• HEATING RESISTANCE
Inside the actuator there is a heating resistance which is electronically managed by means of a temperature reading: you can activate (and set the setpoint temperature between 5°C and 30°C) or deactivate it.

Heating resistance activation – “Heater active”
YES = active resistance
NO = non active resistance
•
Heating resistance setpoint temperature – “Heater[5°-30°]”
When the internal temperature is below the setpoint temperature, the heating resistance activates; when the detected probe temperature is above the setpoint temperature, the heating resistance deactivates.
The Modbus or Wi-Fi interface shows the temperature reached inside the actuator.
• MANUAL COMMAND – “MANUAL COMMAND”
This function deactivates the positioning command and forces the complete opening, closing or intermediate position.
CLOSE = complete closing position
OPEN = complete opening position
MID = intermediate position
