Density Select
Using Media Previously Written in SDLT 110 Format
If you do not select a density and you want to append data to a Super DLTtape I data
cartridge that was previously written in SDLT110 format, the drive will write the
appended data in the SDLT110 format.
To specify a density when using media previously written in SDLT 110 format:
1. Rewind the tape to start writing from the beginning of tape (BOT).
2. Select the SDLT320 format option.
3. Be sure the Default density override checkbox is checked.
4. Click Apply.
The 110 LED blinks to indicate that a request has been made for media to be
written in a different format.
NOTE:
You cannot write multiple formats to the same Super DLTtape I data cartrdige.
