On - Amber
The adapter is receiving power. The cable connection between the
hub/switch and adapter is good and the link is established at 10
Mb/s.
On - Green
The adapter is receiving power. The cable connection between the
hub/switch and adapter is good and the link is established at 100
Mb/s.
Off
The adapter is not receiving power or the cable connection between
the hub/switch and adapter is faulty.
ACT
Flashing Amber
The adapter is sending or receiving network data at 10 Mb/s. The
frequency of the flashes varies with the amount of network traffic.
Flashing Green
The adapter is sending or receiving network data at 100 Mb/s. The
frequency of the flashes varies with the amount of network traffic.
Off
The adapter is not sending or receiving network data.
The fiber upgrade modules have two LEDs that indicate port operation. These LEDs are
described in Table 1-2.
