LIGHTING THE BURNER

Make sure the burner control knob is set to the OFF

position.

Push in and turn the burner control knob anti-clockwise

until a “click” sound is heard, check that the burner is

now alight.

If burner is not alight, return the burner control knob

back to the OFF position, allow the excess gas to

disperse then repeat step 2.

ADJUSTING THE FLAME

Turn the gas control in a clockwise direction to achieve

a higher flame and in an anti-clockwise direction for a

lower flame. Turn the control fully clockwise to turn the

appliance OFF.

Note

When operating the appliance in windy conditions

it is important to regularly check the burner to ensure
that the flame has not been extinguished. If so turn the
gas control off, allow residual gas to disperse. Relocate
the appliance to a more sheltered position before
attempting to reignite the burner.

TURNING THE APPLIANCE OFF

If the appliance is no longer to be used and to reduce the

risk of blocked gas jets caused by excess gas being left

in the hose, all remaining gas must be expelled from the

hose assembly.

With the flame still operating, turn the valve on the gas

cylinder in a clockwise direction until it is OFF. Allow the

flame to burn down then extinguish once all remaining

gas in the hose has been used. See figure 6.

Turn the burner control knob on the appliance to the OFF

position. See figure 7.
