Activating ports
Port Activation feature allows conditional port forwarding. When the device detects outgoing
access to a specific port (trigger port), temporarily set port forwarding rules on ranges
ports for which you have enabled incoming traffic. The purpose is to better support for gaming on the Internet,
video conferencing and Internet telephony, because these applications require multiple connections.
1. Press the Create Rule (Create rule) to create a new rule.
2. Enter the required information and press Apply (Apply).
3. This will create one rule. You can also delete existing rules.
