Power Tail Installation to RRU, Blue -48VDC and Black 0V

After the trunk cable is mounted measure 

distance       to determine the length of the 

bird resistant sleeve and power conductor.

     Remove bird resistant connector by loosening the gland 

nut.      Open the safety clip with a screwdriver.      Pull the 

connector off the bird resistant sleeve.      Push the safety clip 

back into the connector.

Cut bird resistant sleeve at     . Be  

careful not to cut the power  

conductor inside of the bird proofing. 

Dispose of excess bird proofing.

      Replace bird resistant connector by sliding connector over 

cable while twisting clockwise.      Tighten the gland nut on the 

power cable.

Route power to RRU, Connect and lock gland on the RRU entry plate before installing cover. 

Entry plate will sit on the threaded portion of the gland nut.
