Chapter 4: Using the cable modem Web Manager

Off

: In this mode, you can choose whether or not to leave the power indicator

always active. Choose this mode if you do not want to see indications of active

alerts.

Configure link aggregation on T25 devices

The Surfboard T25 modem supports link aggregation on the LAN ports. This allows a

subscriber device with two Ethernet ports to use both for a single connection, effectively

doubling the available bandwidth between the device and T25.

To configure link aggregation:

1. Navigate to http://192.168.100.1.

The Status page opens.

2. Scroll down to the Interface Parameters block:

3. Set the link aggregation method:

LACP (802.3ad Dynamic link aggregation): always use for MacOS.

■

Balanced-XOR

■

None (turns off Link aggregation)

4. Click 

Apply

The T25 operates in link aggregation mode.
