Riding a bike whether it be on the road, on trails, tracks, snow, in the
city, forest, bike park, up, down, on a 24in, 26in, 650b, 29er or a 700cc,
alone, as part of a group….Is a risky business! We recommend choosing
products which are most suited to your type of riding with the advice of a
professional.
It’s also worth bearing in mind that there is a lot to budget for in addition,
especially regarding the necessary protection needed when riding. A
helmet is compulsory regardless of the type of riding you are doing. Think
about gloves, back protection, knee pads, elbow pads. These products are
continually improving in quality and performance and they allow you to push
the limits more. So check yourself before you wreck yourself.
Finally, it is best not to change any of the components on your bike.
Replacing old components with the same new yes, but experience has
showed us that some riders use components that are not made for them.
These modifications can be dangerous. If you want to change your bike up
so much then maybe it’s just time to buy a different one!
