To connect the RDT-A7.0 with the OBC

The OBC device is assigned to the vehicle, but the Android tablet is not linked to

a vehicle until the driver logs into the tablet. Therefore, the Android tablet will not

attempt to connect to the OBC until the user attempts to log in.

On login, the RDT-A7.0 will attempt to connect to the OBC device via wifi. The

first attempt to connect to the OBC wifi hotspot can take up to 20 seconds. Once

connected, future connections will occur more quickly, usually in less than 10

seconds.

The tablet can pair with a different OBC if the driver switches between

trucks, but they must log out and then log in when they get to the new

truck. The tablet will attempt to pair with the OBC device only during
