7. Maintenance and self-checking
Maintenance of power wheelchair including: clean power wheelchair, check tire and battery, and
charge battery, for further maintenance please contact with service center. Our maintain suggestions:
the power wheelchair checked every half year, annually overhaul.
7.1Clean power wheelchair, tire, and battery maintenance
7.1.1 Clean Power wheelchair
Please clean the power wheelchair regularly.
Cleaning the parts that frequently touched with user’s body (such as set cushion, armrest, controller)
by a clean and slight wet cloth. Do not use organic solvents to clean.
If patient user, the power wheelchair should be cleaned once weekly. If the power wheelchair is
used by infectious person should be cleaned and disinfected by disinfectants.
7.1.2 Tires
Checking the tires’ air pressure and their wear condition regularly, the tread pattern depth reduce to
one 1mm need change new tire.
7.1.3 Battery
Makes sure battery is fully charged frequently, in order to prolong battery life, we are strongly
recommend not charge until battery totally no power.
7.2 Power wheelchair malfunction and self-checking
The power wheelchair malfunction is during working, before check, please turned off the
power.
Symptom: of completely lost power is all the LED lights that on the controller panel off.

Checking the controller’s plug connector that connect with battery box if is loose, please
reinsert this plug connecting(holding the plug connector unplug

do not holding wire for this
action, to avoid unnecessary damage to the wire line). After above checking still not restore the
power, or if have any question for above checking
