Changing the filter
Changing the main filter:
The frequency with which the filter has to be changed depends, of course, on the amount of
contamination and use. As a general rule it should normally be changed every 6-9 months.
Change the filter if the following problems arise: The performance of the fan drops and the
noise level increases at the same time. The surface of the filter changes color until it becomes
similar to that of the indicator. If you notice that the filter has got to a point where it no lon-
ger removes much dust and dirt from the air.
• First make sure, that the device is unpluged. Then put the device on the backside.
• Press the two release buttons at the sides of the filter cartridge and put it out a little.
• Lift the unit carefully, then the filtercartridge will slide out by itself.
• Now check the filter by comparing the color. If the filter has not changed that much in
color, clean it with a vacuum cleaner (ideally outdoors).
