ROLL OUT BATTERIES (IF EQUIPPED)
BATTERY TRAY REMOVAL
Before battery tray removal check that the
direction selector is in the neutral position, the
power keyswitch is in the “Off” position and
the key is removed.
Disconnect the battery connector from the
vehicle charger connector. Position
battery connector in a location that will
prevent pinching or damage to the cables
as the battery tray is moved.
With the transfer stand in the lowest down
position, move the transfer stand ahead
until the chassis hooks are underneath
the chassis tube and the side locators are
firmly engaged at both sides of the battery
tray opening.
Transfer stand pin & slot will
aid in alignment & positioning.
Raise the transfer stand until the chassis
is lifted slightly off the ground. Use the
rear tire as reference.
Attach a hook to the transfer stand and
the other hook (to the battery tray. Pull
out the battery tray.
Secure the battery pack in the stand by
inserting a hitch pin through a hole in the
left bottom rail of the transfer stand.
Roll out battery tray is heavy. Battery tray must
be secured in the transfer stand before moving.
Lower the stand to disengage the catch
mechanisms and roll away the transfer
stand and battery tray.
