PRESS PAPER BLOCK

Safety Precautions
•
Ensure that the power is completely disconnected from the scanner unit.
•
Ensure the scanner is positioned on its Colortrac stand, or a stable maintenance platform.

Medium Pozi-drive screwdriver
•
Medium Stubby Pozi-drive screwdriver
•
Instant Adhesive
•
Small Flat Screwdriver

Procedure
1. Press down on the locking
buttons on both ends of the
scanner lid unit.
2. Open the lid unit right
back.
NOTE: Although the Press Paper Blocks can be stuck on without removing the Lid Cover Extrusion
Sub-A, it is recommended to remove it, so the Lid Cover Extrusion Sub-A can be laid flat, this prevents
the adhesive covered Press Paper Block from falling onto the CIS, which can damage the surface with
the adhesive.
To attempt to glue the Press Paper Block while the Lid Cover Extrusion Sub-A is still on is done so at
your own risk.
