What is aFARM set
This is a home mini ecosystem, which is a self-cleaning aquarium with
fish, and an external plant grow container, in which moisture-loving
plants can grow. This is an aquaponic system in miniature - waste
products of fish and shrimp (toxic to themselves: nitrogenous, potash,
phosphorus compounds, carbon dioxide) are used as a nutrient medium
for plants - they are utilized by bacteria and plants.
aFARM set will allow you to enjoy the view of the aquarium and
hygrophilous ornamental plants, and can also serve as a minifarm for
growing lettuce and seedlings in your kitchen.
Fans of both freshwater and saltwater aquariums can use the aFARM set
to germinate seeds and keep sprouts of mangroves.
