Getting started
1. Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the blade and bowl in warm water.
2. Connect the lead to the wall socket.
3. Make sure that the surface under the potato peeler is clean and dry. Stand the
potato peeler on the rubber feet and make sure that it is stable and will not move
around during use.
4. Attach the bowl securely to the main unit and then fit the blade onto the holder.
Use
1. Make sure that the power switch
is set to
OFF
and that all parts are
properly attached. Make sure that
the bowl (3) is secured to the main
unit (5).
2. Pour 2–3 glasses of water into the bowl. Load the peeler with enough
potatoes to cover the blade but never more than 1 kg. Put the lid on the
bowl and lock it down with the catches, otherwise the machine will not start.
3. Turn the peeler on using the power switch. The peeler will vibrate during use,
but the rubber feet will hold it in place.
4. The potatoes should be peeled after about 2 minutes. Abnormally shaped potatoes
might take a little longer to peel. Do not let the machine work for longer than 4 minutes
at a time. You can follow the potatoes’ progress through the clear see-through lid.
5. When the potatoes are peeled, turn the power switch to
OFF
and unplug the
peeler. Take off the lid and remove the potatoes.
6. Rinse the potatoes in water and remove any remaining peel manually.
