Operation
Note:
Only use bread of an appropriate size. Never attempt to toast bread with any
kind of filling, bread which falls apart when handled or any other kind of bread which is
likely to get stuck inside the toaster.
Toasting
1. Connect the mains lead to a 230 V power point.
2. Insert the slices of bread into the toasting slots.
3. Set the browning control to level 3 or 4.
4. Lower the toasting lever. The bread will automatically be centred in the slots.
Note:
The toasting lever will not lock into place unless the toaster is plugged into
a power point.
5. When the bread has been toasted, it will pop up automatically and the toasting
lever will return to the starting position.
Note:
The top of the toaster can become
very hot.
6. The browning control can be adjusted as desired. Do not adjust the browning
control whilst toasting is in progress. First press [ CANCEL ] and then change
the browning setting before lowering the toasting lever again and toasting until
the desired level of browning has been achieved.
Reheating previously toasted bread
1. Connect the mains lead to a 230 V power point.
2. Insert the slices of toast to be reheated into the toasting slots.
3. Lower the toasting lever.
4. Press [ REHEAT ].
5. The toast will be warmed up for a short while. Keep an eye on the toast to make
sure that it does not burn.
Defrosting
1. Connect the mains lead to a 230 V power point.
2. Insert the frozen slices of bread into the toasting slots.
3. Lower the toasting lever.
4. Press [ DEFROST ].
