Safety
- Position the coffee maker on a dry and stabile surface out of reach of children
thereby eliminating the risk of scalding.
- Operate the coffee maker only as described in this instruction manual.
- Always pull out the power plug before cleaning or for periods of prolonged non-use.
- Make sure that the voltage is 230 V and that you plug in the coffee maker to an
earthed power socket.
- Do not leave the coffee maker turned on for longer periods of time so as to prevent
overheating and fire. We recommend using a timer connected between the power
plug and power socket in case you forget to turn off the coffee maker.
- Do not pull or carry the coffee maker by its power cord. Do not use the cord as a
handle or crush it in a doorway. Do not pull it around sharp corners or edges or over
hot surfaces such as a stovetop.
- Never dip the coffee maker in water or other liquid and do not expose it to impacts,
shocks or high temperatures.
- Do not use the coffee maker if the power cord or power plug is damaged. Do not use
the coffee maker if you have dropped it on the floor, left it outside or dropped it in
water.
- The coffee maker must be used and stored indoors only.
- Do not remove the coffee maker casing. Components within have high voltage
surfaces exposed and contact with these can lead to electrical shock.
- The coffee maker must not be altered or disassembled and must only be repaired by
qualified service personnel.
