Safety
• Place the coffee maker on a dry and stable surface away from children’s
reach to prevent anyone from being scalded.
• The coffee maker should be used only as described in this manual.
• Always disconnect the plug from the wall socket before cleaning or when not in use.
• Check that the mains current is 230 V and that the coffee maker is connected to
an earthed socket.
• Never allow coffee maker to remain on for long periods. This helps prevent
overheating and fires. It is recommended that you use a timer between the plug of
the coffee maker and wall socket to turn the coffee maker off if you should forget.
• Do not pull or carry the coffee maker by the lead. Do not use the lead as a handle
and do not let it fasten in door jambs. Do not pull it around sharp corners and
edges or over warm surfaces, such as a warm hob.
• Never immerse the coffee maker in water and do not expose it to knocks, blows
or high temperatures.
• Never use the coffee maker if you have dropped it on the floor, left it outdoors or
dropped it in water.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use the device if the mains lead
or plug is damaged.
• The power lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent the risk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by the manufacturer, qualified service
facility or qualified technician.
• Coffee maker should only be used and kept indoors.
• Do not open the casing. Certain components inside the casing are exposed and
carry dangerous electrical current. Contact with these could result in electric shock.
• The coffee maker should only be repaired by qualified service personnel.
• The coffee maker should not be taken apart or modified.
• This product must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from
physical or mental impairment. This product should not be used by anyone that
has not read the instruction manual unless they have been instructed in its use
by someone who will take responsibility for their safety.
• Never let children play with the product.
• This product is designed for domestic use and similar environments such as:
