5.2.3  Cleaning the accessories 

Wipe the accessories with a soft cloth or sponge using a neutral detergent, and then with a dry cloth. 

 

 

  Since there is a risk of electric shock, before cleaning, please turn off the power switch and 

disconnect the plug from the outlet.   

  If  the  device  is  contaminated  with  toxic  chemicals  or  gases,  please  make  sure  to  wear 

chemical-resistant gloves and masks when cleaning the interior part. 
 

  Never use chlorine detergent. It may cause the chamber to be oxidized. Also, never use volatile 

substances such as cleaning agents, abrasives, benzene, acids or solvents. 

  Do  not  wipe  the  surface  of  the  instrument  using  an  organic  solvent such  as  sulfuric  acid  or 

hydrochloric acid. 

  Use a soft cloth or a sponge to wash the cleaning tool with a neutral detergent. 

  Do not pour water directly into the instrument while cleaning. 

  Do not arbitrarily disassemble and clean the instrument. 

  If  cleaning  the  instrument  in  a  way  other  than  the  above  method,  please  check  with  Cole-

Parmer or the branch before cleaning. 

 

 

5.3  Major maintenance checks 

Please check the confirmation below once again and operate the device correctly. 

(1) Please check the connection between the device and the power source. 

(2) Please check whether the device and system are correctly fixed in the caster. 

(3) Please check whether the up/down, left/right horizontality of the device is correct. 

(4) Please check if there are any flammable or explosive substances left in the device.
