2. Before Operation
Prior to operating this instrument, read this instruction manual carefully and follow the
requirements. Store this manual in a proper place so as to refer to it when necessary. Send
this manual with the instrument to all subsequent users.
3. Safety Instructions and Precautions
This instrument can be operated and maintained only by trained professionals.
To prevent electric shock, when the operating voltage is more than 30Vrms DC or AC,
preventive measures should be taken.
The measuring instrument can only be used in line circuit of< 20A; its nominal voltage is
1000V (CAT Ill).
For the purpose of safe connection, the nominal cross-section of the cable to be
connected should be taken into consideration.
Measuring a dangerous electric device should be carried out under the guidance of a
qualified electrician only.
