Display symbols
Note:
will appear on the display if the ambient temperature
exceeds 40 °C.
will appear if the ambient temperature is
below 0 °C. This means that the device’s automatic temperature
compensation feature has been activated.
•
If the charger clamps are incorrectly connected in regards
to polarity the display will show the following symbol. The
plus and minus icon will flash and an alarm will sound until
the charger clamps are disconnected. Reconnect the charger
clamps to the correct battery terminals.

When the charger clamps are correctly connected and
the charger is connected to a wall socket the display will show
the following symbol. Press [ Charge ] (6) to begin charging.
•
The display will show the output current charging the battery.
The battery level icon will change constantly during charging
and the arrows pointing to the plus and minus icons will flash.

If the charger is overheated the display will show the
following icons:
•
The display will show “FLO” to indicate that the charger is in
float charge mode. The battery icon will display full charge and
the arrows pointing to the plus and minus icons will flash.

Checking the battery’s voltage. Press [ Battery Voltage ] (7).

Reconditioning the battery.
It is recommended that you periodically recondition your
battery for optimum use. This process takes about 24 hours.
To begin, press [ Battery Recond ] (8). You can interrupt
charging by pressing this button once again. Certain batteries
take more than 24 hours to recondition. If this is the case
restart the entire process.
Note:
If after 5 tries your batteries
performance does not improve then it is time to change
the battery. The display will show the following during
reconditioning:
