2.8. Auxiliary
This control allows user to program wiper functions, to display tempera-
ture and pressure inside the barrel and to send the Camera to home
position.
Miscellaneous:

Seek Pan/Tilt Home (Applies to 3960

) - allows the user
to bring the Camera to home position. This should calibrate pan/
tilt position reference.
•
Show Temperature/ Pressure - allows the user to display the existing status of temperature and
pressure inside the Camera in the left corner of the video display area. This is intended as mainte-
nance aid, add allows remote monitoring of camera barrel nitrogen charge pressure.
2.8.1 Showing Pressure/Temperature
Allows user to see the existing status of pressure and temperature inside the Camera.
• Click the Auxiliary button from the Camera configuration/control menu.
•
Click the Show Temperature/Pressure button.
Pressure/Temperature will be displayed for several seconds in the top left corner of the monitor. It will turn
off automatically.
2.9 Sector Zones (Applies to 3960

The sector zone function allows user to label specified areas within
camera’s field of view. The system supports 16 sector zones.
To establish the sector zone follow the next steps:
• Click the Sector Zones button from the Camera configuration/
control menu.
•
Select the desired sector number from the Sector drop-down
menu.
•
Check the box “Enable ID.”
•
Type the name of the sector zone in the name box. Click the Set button.
•
Position the left edge of the sector zone to the right edge of the video area. Be sure that you cannot
see any objects that belong to the sector zone. Click the Left Limit button.
•
Position the right edge of the sector zone to the left edge of the video area. Be sure that you cannot
see any objects that belong to the sector zone. Click the Right Limit button. .
NOTE:
To turn off the selected sector zone, clear the check box labeled “Enable.”
•
Use the Delete button to clear the sector zone.
•
Use the Delete All button to clear all sector zones that have been set.
