Troubleshooting
If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. Otherwise contact customer service. Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!

• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse for your mains connection.

lter been inserted correctly?

lter compartment closed?
• Has the glass pot been correctly placed on the heating plate?
• Has the water tank been inserted?
Unusual odour.
The
fi
rst time liquid circulates through the coffee maker, this may pro-
duce an unusual odour. This is normal and is attributed to production res-
idues. For this reason, you should operate the coffee maker with water
(without coffee powder) several times before using it for the
fi
rst time in
order to rinse out the device’s lines (also see chapter “Before
fi
rst use”).
