Setting up and Connecting the Device Correctly

Use the device only in enclosed spaces.

Always place the device on a dry, level,

rm and heat-resistant surface.

Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, strong temperature

uctuations,
direct sunlight or moisture.

Maintain a suf

cient distance from heat sources such as hobs or ovens in order not to
damage the device.

Connect the device only to a properly installed socket with safety contacts. The power
socket must also be readily accessible after connection. The mains voltage must match the
technical data for the device (see the "Technical Data" chapter). Only use suitable exten-
sion cables whose technical data is the same as that of the device.

Make sure that the connected mains leads are not a tripping hazard. Do not allow cables
to hang over the edge of tables or kitchen counters. Others may become caught and pull
the device down.

Position the cables in such a way that they do not become squashed or bent and do not
come into contact with hot surfaces.
Correct Use

Check the device for damage before each use. If the device, lead or plug is visibly dam-
aged, the device must not be used. Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned or been
dropped.

If the device is broken, do not attempt to repair it yourself. In the event of any damage,
contact our customer service department.

Only use accessories which are recommended by the manufacturer.

Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.

Do not leave the device switched on when it is unattended.
