Assembly and setup
Take care when adjusting the bandsaw in order to ensure optimum performance.
Assembling the floor stand
1. Using the coach bolts (HP3) and flange nuts (
HP9
) and fit the table rails together as shown
in the figure above. Ensure that the two short table rails (
L1
and
L2
) are opposite each other.
Tighten the nuts by hand only in this position.
2. Place the floor stand on a level floor and press it down until it is standing stable.
3. Tighten all nuts using a 10 mm spanner.
Anchoring the stand to the floor
The floor stand must be securely fastened to the floor
either directly or on some form of support which eliminates
the possibility of it tipping over during sawing.
1. Fit the rubber feet (
L
) onto the bottom of the legs (
K
).
2. Position the stand where it is to be anchored and
place the flat washers (
HP10
) over the holes in
the feet.
3. Fasten the stand to the underlying surface using
suitable fasteners.
