Product description
Care
• Wipe the entire measuring scale with a soft cloth.
Do not use solvents to clean the caliper.
• Keep the caliper dry and clean.
• Always turn the device off when it is not in use.
• Never measure surfaces that are conducting electrical current.
• Do not engrave the caliper with an electric engraver.
This may damage the caliper.
• Changing the battery can cause the digits on the display to flicker.
Remove the battery and wait 30 seconds before replacing it.
Changing the battery
When the display becomes weak the battery needs to be changed.
Undo the upper screw on the back of the caliper to open the battery cover.
The positive terminal (+) should face upward.

Use
1 Preparations
• The slider can only be moved once the locking screw (4) has been undone.
• Clean the measuring scale and all measuring surfaces.
• Make sure that the display and all function buttons are in working order.
2 Measuring
1. Loosen the locking screw (4).
2. Turn the caliper by pressing [ON/OFF] (8). (The display comes on automa-
tically when the slider is moved even if you do not press [ON/OFF].)
3. Press [MODE] (7) to select metric or imperial display.
4. Carry out the measurement.
5. To zero the caliper, close the jaws completely and then press [ZERO] (9).
6. Press [ON/OFF] (8) to turn off the device after a completed measurement.
