The Cochlear Baha Remote Control uses low-powered digitally coded 
transmissions in order to communicate with other wireless devices. 
Although unlikely, nearby electronic devices may be affected. In such 
cases, move the Cochlear Baha Remote Control away from the affected 
electronic device.

 

When using the Cochlear Baha Remote Control and it is affected by 
electromagnetic interference, move away from the source of the 
interference.

 

Avoid exposing your product to rain, moisture or other liquids to protect 
against damage to the product or personal injury.

 

Keep the product and any cords and cables away from operating 
machinery.

 

If the product overheats, has been dropped or damaged, has a damaged 
cord or plug, or has been dropped in a liquid, discontinue use and contact 
your hearing care professional.

 

Dispose of the product according to local standards and regulations.

 

Do not use in areas where there is a risk of explosion.

General precautions

 

Your sound processor and the remote control were given a unique 
communication network code during fitting. This ensures that the remote 
control will not affect sound processors worn by others.

 

High-powered electronic equipment, larger electronic installations and 
metallic structures may significantly reduce the operating range.

 

Use only original Cochlear accessories.

 

Do not alter or modify the remote control.

 

Opening the remote control might damage it.

 

The Cochlear Baha Remote Control may only be repaired by an authorized 
service centre.

 

Do not use the Cochlear Baha Remote Control in areas where RF 
transmission is prohibited, e.g., in planes, etc. 

Battery warning information

 

Batteries contain dangerous substances and should be disposed of carefully.

 

For your safety and to protect the environment, please note:

1.  DO NOT attempt to recharge batteries that are not rechargeable. They 

may leak or explode.

2.  DO NOT attempt to dispose of batteries by burning them.
3.  DO NOT place batteries in your mouth. Consult a physician immediately 

if a battery has been swallowed. This can be harmful to your health.

4.  Keep batteries away from pets or anyone who may not be capable of 

handling them properly.
