Current Channel Number Checking

 

1.

  During 

Standby

 mode, turn the 

Channel/Privacy 

Code Selection

 Knob one step, the current channel 

number and user adjusted privacy code setting (if any) 

prompted.

 

2.  

After the current channel number prompted, choose 

one of the following.

 

a.

  Turn the 

Channel/Privacy Code Selection

 Knob 

clockwise or counterclockwise to change channel 

number.

 

b. 

 Press the 

Talk

 button to return to 

Standby

 mode.

 

c.

  Do not press any buttons or turn the 

Channel/Privacy Code Selection

 Knob for 6 

seconds, the current channel number prompted 

again, and then return to 

Standby

 mode.

To Select a Channel

The radio has 22 Channels that preset with customized privacy codes, see 

Channel and Default Privacy Code Table

 on page 10.

  After the current channel number prompted, turn the 

Channel/Privacy Code Selection

counterclockwise again to select a channel.

 

3.

  When the desired channels selected, choose one of 

the following.

 

a.

  Turn the 

Channel/Privacy Code Selection

 Knob 

clockwise or counterclockwise to change a new 

channel number.

 

b.

  Press the 

Talk

 button to enter the new setting and 

return to 

Standby

 mode.

 

c.

  Do not press any buttons or turn the 

Channel/Privacy Code Selection

 Knob for 6 

seconds to enter the new setting, the current 

channel number prompted again, and then return 

to 

Standby

 mode.
