Field replacement procedure –

Replacing the part in 407016C SAILOR VSAT Antenna Control Unit
1.
Remove the power cable from the ACU.
IMPORTANT
: Do not start the
disassembling before the power cable has
been removed.
Wait for approx. 10 seconds for the capacitors to
discharge.
2.
Remove all 16 screws of the top cover and 5
screws on each side of the ACU and remove the
top plate.
3.
Unplug the 4 cables connected to the APS:
FAN
Flatcable,
Multi wire cable
Power switch cable
4.
Remove the 2 screws holding AC power inlet
to the cabinet.
5.
Remove the 2 screws on the back and 4
screws on the bottom to remove the APS
from the cabinet.
6.
Mount the new APS module.
